Dear Parents,
The following Reading and Math Skills are what your child will be learning this week.  We are reading Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night by Cynthia Rylant.  Our genre focus is Realistic Fiction which are stories that could be real.

Vocabulary
These are words to practice in reading and conversation with your child.
Story Vocabulary:  backpack, camping, lanterns, campfire, hike, tent

Please have your child practice these words and sentences for the test on Friday.
Please be sure your child can spell these words and give a sentence for each one.
